Frequently Asked Questions

Are your calculators free to use?

Yes — completely free, no sign-up required, no credit card, no catch. We make money from display advertising, not from charging users or selling leads to financial companies.

Do you sell my personal information?

No. We don't collect personal information at all. All calculator inputs stay in your browser and are never sent to our servers. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

Are you affiliated with any bank or financial institution?

No. FreeMoneyIQ is fully independent. We don't sell financial products, we're not licensed financial advisors, and we have no financial relationship with any bank, lender, or investment firm. Our calculators are educational tools only.

How accurate are the estimates?

Our calculators use standard financial formulas and 2026 rate data. They're designed to give you a realistic ballpark — not exact projections. Actual results will vary based on your specific lender, credit profile, and market conditions. Always consult a licensed financial professional before making major financial decisions.

How often is the data updated?

We review and update our calculators quarterly and more frequently when major rate changes occur — for example, significant Federal Reserve moves or changes to IRS withholding tables. Mortgage rate data is updated monthly.

Can I embed a calculator on my website?

We don't currently offer a public embed option, but it's on our roadmap. Email support@freemoneyiq.com if you're interested and we'll keep you posted.
