Yes — completely free, no sign-up required, no credit card, no catch. We make money from display advertising, not from charging users or selling leads to financial companies.
No. We don't collect personal information at all. All calculator inputs stay in your browser and are never sent to our servers. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
No. FreeMoneyIQ is fully independent. We don't sell financial products, we're not licensed financial advisors, and we have no financial relationship with any bank, lender, or investment firm. Our calculators are educational tools only.
Our calculators use standard financial formulas and 2026 rate data. They're designed to give you a realistic ballpark — not exact projections. Actual results will vary based on your specific lender, credit profile, and market conditions. Always consult a licensed financial professional before making major financial decisions.
We review and update our calculators quarterly and more frequently when major rate changes occur — for example, significant Federal Reserve moves or changes to IRS withholding tables. Mortgage rate data is updated monthly.
We don't currently offer a public embed option, but it's on our roadmap. Email support@freemoneyiq.com if you're interested and we'll keep you posted.
Financial data changes — mortgage rates shift weekly, IRS tables update annually, and subsidy thresholds adjust with inflation. If you spot data that looks stale or incorrect, please email support@freemoneyiq.com with the page name and what you believe has changed. We investigate every report and update quickly when data is confirmed outdated. We'd rather be corrected than wrong.
We currently offer six core calculators: Mortgage Calculator (with state-specific variants for Texas, California, Florida, New York, and Illinois), Loan Payoff Calculator, Savings Goal Calculator, Compound Interest Calculator, Freelancer Rate Calculator, and Tax Withholding Calculator. All are free, no sign-up required, and results stay in your browser.
FreeMoneyIQ displays Google AdSense ads — standard display advertising based on your browsing context, not paid placements by specific financial companies. We do not accept sponsored posts, paid reviews, or editorial placements in exchange for money. Our blog content is written based on what we believe is most useful to readers, not what advertisers want to promote. Some blog posts include Amazon affiliate links to relevant books, which are clearly labeled.
FreeMoneyIQ is an independent financial tools site. We're not a bank, brokerage, insurance company, or financial advisory firm. We built this site because we believe the math behind major financial decisions — mortgages, debt payoff, savings goals — should be freely accessible to everyone, not hidden behind paywalls or gated by a sales call. See our About page for more on our mission and editorial standards.
